Trusted Facility Partner for Hospitals and Health Centres

Our recent refurbishment of the Bentley Midwifery Birth Centre demonstrates our ability to deliver sensitive, high-compliance works in live healthcare environments, while our ongoing contract with Health Support Services (HSS) covers multi-trade building and maintenance services across various WA health sites. With in-house licensed trades and a robust subcontractor network, AWB ensures responsive, safe, and scalable service delivery that allows health providers to focus on patient care while we manage the infrastructure that supports it.
Bentley Hospital- Midwifery
In May 2024, AWB was awarded the contract to deliver refurbishment works for the new Midwifery Birth Centre located on Level 2, A Block of Bentley Health Service. The centre was designed to provide a calm, family-oriented environment for expectant mothers with low-risk pregnancies, offering two birthing rooms and associated support infrastructure. The works were undertaken in a live hospital environment, requiring careful planning and execution to ensure surrounding clinical areas, including the Birth Centre Theatre, remained fully operational throughout. AWB successfully delivered the project within a live hospital setting, maintaining full operational continuity of adjacent clinical areas. The new Midwifery Birth Centre reflects a modern, welcoming aesthetic aligned with EMHS’s vision for patient-centred care.

Coordination with Licensed Asbestos Assessors and Occupational Hygienists to obtain clearance certificates and occupancy permits before re-entry.
Defect Rectification & Handover
Final inspections, punch list resolution, and delivery of completion documentation including warranties and maintenance guidance.
