WA Eating Disororders Hub

AWB was awarded the contract to deliver the comprehensive internal fit-out of the WA Eating Disorders Outreach & Consultation Service Hub in Subiaco. The project aimed to transform an existing space into a purpose-built clinical and consultation facility tailored to the operational and therapeutic needs of the service. AWB successfully delivered a modern, functional, and welcoming environment for clinical staff and patients, with all works completed to specification and in alignment with healthcare standards.

Scope Summary

• AWB commenced works in February 2024, beginning with demolition of existing ceilings, flooring, and services. Glazed panels were removed and replaced with a new louver system. Ceiling suspension systems and grid layouts were modified to suit the new configuration.
• New internal walls and ceilings were constructed, and glazed doors and partitions were installed. Timber doors with frames and hardware were supplied and fitted. Flooring works included carpet and vinyl installation with coved skirtings. An operable wall system was also installed to support flexible space usage.
• Custom cabinetry was installed throughout, including pinboards and whiteboards. Full internal painting was completed across walls, ceilings, and doors. Electrical upgrades included installation of a new switchboard, relocation of push buttons and encoder readers, and installation of absence detectors.
• Loose fixtures such as corner guards, toilet roll holders, soap dispensers, blinds, and signage were supplied and installed. The project also included structural, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical works, all delivered with minimal disruption and zero lost time injuries (LTIs)
