Our Partnership with Fremantle Foundation
AWB Co and Bidi Facility Services are proud to partner with the Fremantle Foundation to establish the Bidi + AWB Empowerment Fund—a dedicated philanthropic initiative designed to deliver meaningful social impact across Australia. This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting the community we operate within.
Rather than making ad hoc donations to charities and social clubs, we now channel our contributions through this strategic fund. It allows us to align our giving with our business values, amplify our impact, and engage our staff, contractors, and clients in a shared mission of empowerment and inclusion.
How It Works
The Bidi + AWB Empowerment Fund is managed through the Fremantle Foundation’s secure Foundant Donor Portal, which provides real-time access to fund balances, donation history, and grant activity. The Fremantle Foundation is a community-focused philanthropic organisation dedicated to strengthening Western Australian communities through strategic giving. Established in 2010, it serves as a conduit between donors and not-for-profit organisations, enabling impactful local initiatives.

Follow the Dream
In 2024, we proudly made a significant donation to the Polly Farmer Foundation through the Bidi + AWB Empowerment Fund, marking the official launch of our philanthropic initiative.
This contribution holds special meaning for our team. Joel O’Driscoll, a proud Noongar man from Pinjarra and Bidi owner and Director, attended Pinjarra Senior High School and personally benefited from the Polly Farmer Foundation’s programs during his school years. Now, through this partnership, we’re honoured to give back and help the next generation of Indigenous kids coming through.
The Polly Farmer Foundation’s Follow the Dream program provides after-school tuition and mentoring to aspirant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary and secondary students—empowering them to pursue their goals and thrive in education and beyond.
It’s a full-circle moment—and just the beginning of what we hope will be a long and impactful relationship.
