More than just a builder or multi-trade services provider, AWB Co. is a leading end-to-end facility services provider operating across Western Australia and South Australia.
We deliver integrated solutions that encompass design, engineering, and asset lifecycle services, as well as preventative and reactive maintenance, minor works, and project delivery. Our holistic approach is centred on extending asset life and enhancing operational efficiency.
By working in close partnership with each client, AWB Co. drives value-for-money initiatives and helps optimise both operating and capital upgrade budgets. Our goal is to ensure every asset performs at its best—supporting long-term sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and reliability across diverse facility environments.
Our Story
Founded in 2014 as Access Without Barriers Pty Ltd, AWB Co. has grown into a trusted multi-trade provider with operations across Western Australia and South Australia.
Over our first decade, we’ve built a strong foundation through strategic partnerships—including our proud collaboration with Bidi Facility Services—and achieved ISO accreditation, reinforcing our commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Now with over 100+ dedicated staff and a network of more than 1500+ subcontractor partners, AWB Co. operates from WA & SA, delivering integrated facility services across government, commercial, and community sectors. Looking ahead, we’re focused on becoming a leading provider to the facility management industry nationwide driven by innovation, inclusion, and a passion for building better spaces.
OUR HISTORY
2014
2014
In 2014, Access without Barriers Pty Ltd was founded in Western Australia, initially with a focus on providing general building and maintenance services to the newly formed NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme). AWB employed 3 full time staff members, all founding shareholders.
2015
2015
Access without Barriers diversified operations away from predominately disability services, to providing a multi trade service offering to other government agencies, not for profits and commercial clients. As such, AWB became registered builders, licensed electrical, plumbing and painting contractors. Staff numbers grew to 8, with 90+ onboarded subcontractor partners.
2016
2016
Access without Barriers rebrands to AWB Building Co. In addition, the business was restructured to better align to our multi trade service offering. Our Maintenance, Minor Works and Project Services departments were formed. AWB grows to 14 staff members and 140+ subcontractor partners.
2018
2018
AWB grows another 35% in revenue off the back of new contracts in state and local government. Employee number increase to 45+. Our first apprentice joints the team, as an electrical apprentice.
2019
2019
AWB brings on their first HSEQ Manager in WA. Significant investment into operating systems, with new job management systems introduced and rolled out in the business. Staff numbers exceed 55, with 3 apprentices now working in the business.

AWB is ISO accredited with SAI Global for ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001. AWB extends office/warehouse space in Burswood.
