Project Description
AWB was awarded the contract to deliver internal fit-out works at Prindiville Hall for the University of Notre Dame. The project aimed to modernise and reconfigure the internal space to support enhanced functionality and comfort for university operations. AWB successfully delivered a high-quality, fully integrated interior environment tailored to the client’s specifications, with all works completed on time, on budget, and in coordination with site requirements.
Scope Summary
- AWB commenced works in December 2022, beginning with demolition and waste removal, including asbestos-containing material (ACM) removal. The scope included installation of new ceilings, skylights, partitions, doors, windows, and custom joinery. Interior finishes were upgraded with new floor coverings, painting, and installation of fixtures and fittings.
- Comprehensive services were delivered across plumbing and hydraulics, electrical (including lighting, communications, and security), mechanical systems, and dry fire protection including emergency and smoke detection systems. All works were completed over a 5-month period with zero lost time injuries (LTIs), and in full alignment with the University of Notre Dame’s expectations

Engaging and managing licensed trades and specialists, including asbestos removalists, concreters, roofers, and civil contractors.
Final Clearance & Occupancy Certification
Coordination with Licensed Asbestos Assessors and Occupational Hygienists to obtain clearance certificates and occupancy permits before re-entry.
