Project Description
AWB Co. was engaged by Rocky Bay to deliver both Stage 1 and Stage 2 refurbishment works at Lady Lawley Cottage, encompassing a comprehensive upgrade across Buildings C, D, and E. The scope included demolition, structural modifications, installation of compliant access paths, refurbishment of therapy and support spaces, and enhancements to accessibility and safety features. Stage 1 focused on foundational upgrades and internal fit-outs, while Stage 2 expanded to include external works, joinery, electrical enhancements, and acoustic treatments. AWB’s deliverables spanned from site mobilisation and manual excavation to the installation of height-adjustable benchtops, whitegoods, and tailored cabinetry, with detailed attention to supervision, compliance, and quality assurance throughout.

Delivering works in operational schools, hospitals, offices, and public spaces with minimal disruption to occupants and services.
Dust suppression, noise mitigation, waste management, and secure site access to protect people and property.
Coordination with Licensed Asbestos Assessors and Occupational Hygienists to obtain clearance certificates and occupancy permits before re-entry.
Final inspections, punch list resolution, and delivery of completion documentation including warranties and maintenance guidance.
