Neerigen Brook Primary School

AWB was awarded the contract to deliver roof replacement works across Blocks A and C at Neerigen Brook Primary School. The project aimed to upgrade roofing infrastructure, improve mechanical systems, and ensure safety compliance, all while maintaining a safe and functional learning environment. AWB successfully delivered a structurally sound and modernised roofing solution tailored to site requirements, with all works completed to specification and in coordination with Programmed Facility Management.

Scope Summary

• AWB carried out the removal of existing roof cladding, flashings, cappings, insulation, gutters, skylights, glazing, and other penetrations. Roof framing openings were modified to suit new installations. Underground conduits were installed, including bore works to connect a new MSSB to the existing SMSB. Mechanical works were designed and constructed as per specification, including the formation and pouring of new slabs for air conditioning units and cages.
• The scope also included ACM removal, installation of new roof cladding, downpipes, eaves, fascias, and a compliant roof safety system. Ceilings affected by the works were replaced, and painting was completed throughout impacted areas. All demolished materials were disposed of appropriately.
• Services delivered included demolition, electrical, painting, plumbing, structural works, and ACM removal. The project was completed on time and on budget, with zero lost time injuries (LTIs) and full alignment with client expectations
