Mirrambeena Silver Lines
Project Description
In July 2021, AWB was awarded the project to refurbish Units at Mirrambeena Village and Silver Vines Village for Baptistcare WA. This involved conducting works in 14 retirement units: 8 at the Mirrambeena Village facility, and 6 at Silver Vines Village. Works included, but were not limited to, a full kitchen refurbishment, flooring and window treatments, replacement and service of air conditioning units, and landscaping works.

Ensuring all works meet relevant codes and standards, including WHS, Access Aus (AS 1428), and environmental regulations.
Safety Planning & Risk Management
Development and implementation of SWMS, risk assessments, and protocols for high-risk activities such as working at heights and asbestos removal.
Subcontractor Coordination
Engaging and managing licensed trades and specialists, including asbestos removalists, concreters, roofers, and civil contractors.
Live Environment Management
Delivering works in operational schools, hospitals, offices, and public spaces with minimal disruption to occupants and services.
Environmental & Site Controls
Dust suppression, noise mitigation, waste management, and secure site access to protect people and property.
Final Clearance & Occupancy Certification
Coordination with Licensed Asbestos Assessors and Occupational Hygienists to obtain clearance certificates and occupancy permits before re-entry.
Defect Rectification & Handover
Final inspections, punch list resolution, and delivery of completion documentation including warranties and maintenance guidance.
