Fremantle Ports Authority- Kwinana

AWB was awarded the contract to deliver internal modifications across multiple locations within the Administration Building at Kwinana Bulk Terminal. The project aimed to reconfigure office spaces, upgrade services, and improve functionality for Fremantle Ports staff, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. AWB successfully delivered a modernised and functional office environment tailored to operational needs, with all works completed to specification and in coordination with site requirements.

Scope Summary

• At Locations 1, 3, and 4, AWB carried out demolition of internal walls, counters, and fixtures, followed by the installation of new glazed partitions, timber doors, and associated hardware. Services were relocated and upgraded, including electrical, mechanical, and fire systems, with all new surfaces painted to match existing finishes.
• At Location 2, works included demolition and relocation of existing infrastructure, installation of new cabling for power, lighting, data, EWIS, fire, and CCTV, and mechanical upgrades for fresh air and split systems. AWB also poured a new topping slab, constructed new plasterboard walls with acoustic insulation, laid vinyl flooring with coved skirtings, and installed custom cabinetworks, glazed partitions, sliding windows, and timber doors. All new surfaces were painted, and electrical systems were fully integrated.
