Forster Park, Belmont

AWB was awarded the contract to deliver changeroom refurbishment works at the Forster Park Community Centre for the City of Belmont. The project aimed to modernise the facility’s amenities and improve functionality, hygiene, and user experience for community members. AWB successfully delivered a refreshed and compliant changeroom environment tailored to the centre’s operational needs, with all works completed to specification and in coordination with site requirements.

Scope Summary

• AWB commenced works in August 2024, beginning with demolition of existing toilet bowls, sinks, urinals, and partitions. Plumbing works included the installation of new standard toilet bowls, sinks, and tapware. Electrical upgrades involved replacing existing light fittings with new energy-efficient LED lighting.
• Tiling works were carried out with screeding and waterproofing to ensure durability and compliance. Ceilings, walls, and doors were repainted, and new fixtures and fittings were installed, including mirrors, soap dispensers, toilet partitions, and a bench seat.

The project was delivered over a 4-week period, on time and on budget, with zero lost time injuries (LTIs) and full alignment with the City of Belmont’s expectations for community infrastructure upgrades
