AWB was awarded the contract to deliver internal and external painting upgrades to a heritage-listed building at the Central Institute of Technology, engaged by Spotless Facility Services. The project aimed to preserve the historical character of the structure while enhancing its visual appeal and integrity. AWB successfully delivered a high-quality finish that respected the building’s heritage status, with all works completed to specification and in coordination with site requirements.

Scope Summary

• AWB’s scope included preparation works, scaffold installation, and site fencing to ensure safe and compliant access. Mortar and heritage brick repairs were carried out to restore and protect the building’s façade. Painting works were completed across the north, south, and western elevations, as well as internally, with careful attention to maintaining the historical aesthetics of the structure.
• The project was delivered over a 5-week period, on time and on budget, with zero lost time injuries (LTIs) and full alignment with the expectations of Spotless Facility Services and the Central Institute of Technology
